​After playing professional basketball for more than 14 years and benefiting greatly from osteopathic healthcare in Europe, Youssef decided to pursue his dream and complete his diploma in Osteopathy. Since graduating, Youssef has helped countless patients achieve fast recovery to health.
Youssef completed his education at the University of Sport in France and continually undertakes post-graduate osteopathy courses & seminars and attends medical lectures, to keep his practice and knowledge up-to-date with the latest osteopathic and medical research.
Youssef has always been dedicated to providing the highest standards of treatment for all types of patients, including elite international athletes and dedicated sports people. He will work with each individual patient to relieve their pain and restore them to their usual pain-free state.
Youssef uses osteopathy as a way of detecting and treating injuries in the muscles, ligaments, fascia, nerves and joints of the body. Having a highly developed sense of touch known as palpation, he will gently and specifically, evaluate and treat injuries. As an osteopathic practitioner, Youssef believes that the body has the ability to heal itself and the skilled application of osteopathic techniques (massage, mobilization and soft tissue) can improve this process.
Youssef is a very honest, friendly, caring and compassionate practitioner. He will always put his patients first and will go the extra mile to help them. Born in France, Youssef is of Moroccan-descent and is fluent in English, French and Arabic.
Youssef is an active member of the Ontario Osteopathic and Alternative Medicine Association (#10130) and is covered by all insurance companies, including Green Shield (Provider #: 000545264), Sunlife, Manulife, Great West Life and Blue Cross (Provider #: 1013011).
