Rachel van Romondt, M.OMSc
Osteopathic Manual Practitioner
Rachel is a classically trained osteopathic manual practitioner, with an in-depth understanding of anatomy, physiology, and biomechanics. Having begun her career in health and wellness in 2002 as a Registered Massage therapist, Rachel brings a wealth of experience and knowledge gained over 16 years in patient care. Her approach to treatment is unique, and geared to address the specific needs of the individual. Rachel approaches the body as a dynamic unit, and restores alignment in a gentle manner, to allow for proper function, health and wellness.
As a graduate of the Canadian Academy of Osteopathy in Hamilton, and a member of the Ontario Osteopathic Association, she has attained the highest standard of Osteopathic training available in Canada, a program of over 4200 hours of education, and more than 1000 hours of practical training. Rachel also has an Advanced Diploma in Massage Therapy from Centennial College, and has been a member of the College of Massage Therapists since 2002. In addition, she has pursued continued education relating to Fascia, PNF stretching, Yoga, Personal Training, and Structural Alignment over the years, and looks forward to applying her passion for continuous learning to the field of Osteopathy in the future.
