Katie Laurin, M.Ost, MSc, BSc Hons
Osteopathic Manual Practitioner
Katie is a graduate of the University College of Osteopathy in the UK, and holds a BSc Hons in Human Kinetics and an MSc in Biomechanics from the University of Guelph. She is also a published author in the International Journal of Osteopathic Medicine.
As a basketball and rugby athlete, Katie developed a passion for sport and fitness at a young age. While working as an athletic trainer with the women’s ice hockey team at the University of Guelph she became interested in sport injury management and rehabilitation. She enjoys combining her knowledge in these fields with osteopathic joint mobilization, soft tissue release, and visceral techniques to provide a patient-centred approach to treatment. Katie has also worked as a personal trainer and shares her knowledge in this field with her clients to provide exercise advice.
Katie is a member in good standing with the Ontario Association of Osteopathic Manual Practitioners.
